TABASCO Pepper Sauce 350ml, 1 Pack

It was first produced in Avery Island, Louisiana way back in 1868 by Edmund McIlhenny. Surprisingly, its still made by the same family (with a little bit of help!) in the same place. Peppers are hand picked by workers who carry a little stick, painted with a rich red paint, this helps them select only the ripest peppers for the next step. Now theyre sent straight for processing workers mash the peppers and sprinkle just the right amount of salt. Once complete, the sauce is left to mature in traditional white oak barrels. Interesting fact: The barrels used to mature the sauce were previously used as ageing barrels for Jack Daniels Tennessee whiskey!
